This is it!

It is getting dark now, and it’s almost as if I can feel the infamous Hurricane Irene coming. I’m on a ChinaTown bus, headed from NYC (my hometown) to Boston, headed to MIT! I’ve been waiting weeks and weeks for this moment. I can finally implement all the planning, researching and dreaming I’ve been putting into this. I have such a variety of things on my “Plan to Do” list. Everything from joining “Asian Dance Team”, outdoor treks to auditing topology and much more!! Once I arrive, I will publish a more proper list of all my goals and plans, and then at the end of the year, I will write down what I actually accomplished and compare/contrast those two lists, so that you guys can find out what’s more realistic or not. 😀

I imagine many of the “Rush” activities will be limited, due to the hurricane, however it will be a great feeling to meet many of my fellow peers, and colleagues whom I’ve developed special relations with online, yet never met– especially from OnlineMathCircle, a non profit organization with a huge chunk of staff situated in MIT (including now Freshman Shri Ganeshram, founder of OMC).

This is my last pre-MIT post, after this, everything I say will be live and relevant from MIT campus itself! I am sacrificing a significant amount of privacy in order to capture the essence of my experience, and make it more relevant and personal for my readers.

Future posts will be incorporating various forms of Media, including videos, pictures, models and much more!!

If there is anything you’d like me to explore or find out, please ask!! I am not a student, and do not necessarily have any biased opinions in MIT’s favor.
